So I manually installed it, but steam keep reseting my fallout.ini. Disabled steam cloud and auto updates for New Vegas, but that didn't help at all. Help! :brokencomputer:

Try this and tell me if it works... I extracted all of the files and ran the smart mod at the time of posting that find... I'm still processing the files. :snoring:

Thx mate. Will try that utility next time I install something big. Right now I just did the old fashioned archive text edit :)

Alter FalloutNV - Default.ini in the base game's folder instead.

That worked like a charm! Deleted the archive file, and all textures show up correctly still. Brilliant :clap: This will save me allot of work in the future, thanks man :woot:

Ummmm... the same way we altered the FalloutPrefs before patch borked things up with that? :shrug:
